Mica Paper
Mica sheet and tube is produced by bonding thin mica paper layers together using a silicone adhesive under compression. It is a very strong and rigid material yet can be punched and machined to a specified design.
With a heat resisting capacity of up to 800 deg C, it can be used as the skeleton material of electrical heating elements and dielectric spacers at elevated temperatures. Due to its resistance to moister absorption Mica is ideally suited to a wide range of high temperature and electrical applications.
